As usual, please excuse the terrible indoor nighttime lighting. But it’s done! I’m glad to have it finished by the end of the year – I have big knitting plans for next year, and would like to start fresh. I just got the second sleeve done today and sewed the side seams, then chucked it… Continue reading Forest Weave Done!
Halfway done with sleeve 1 and no disasters so far! It helps that they are pretty short sleeves. I haven’t had a lot of time to knit over the last couple days, but hopefully starting Thursday there will be lots more time. At least for a couple of days!
The second body piece of Forest Weave is done! I finished knitting it last night, then decided to wash and dry both pieces. It doesn’t look like much, but this represent around half a pattern repeat since the last time you saw this piece of knitting. And since a pattern repeat is 52 rows, that’s not too terrible! It it kind of a boring knit, but I do want the top that will result when it is finally… Continue reading Imperceptible Progress
If you have been following along, you may recall that I hit on a British archaeology TV series and was bingeing away. Well, we are still on the same series! Time Team lasted 20 seasons, and they are all solid gold. We have been watching on Amazon Prime. There a couple of the earlier seasons… Continue reading More Archaeology Bingeing with a side of Knitting
Forest Weave and v3 of my crescent shawl design are moving along reasonably well. There’s nothing much new to say about them, and honestly I’m at the stage where I’m tired of thinking about them. So today I spent some time getting ready for my next two projects! This month’s Boost Your Knitting project went… Continue reading Next Projects
