DH and I were just off for a short getaway, so while I do have knitting news to report, it’s not photo-ready quite yet. What I did want to talk about is a show I have been watching and book I recently read. If you like cozy mysteries, true crime podcasts, and/or New York, you… Continue reading Only Murders On this Blog
I’m trying out some tea sample boxes from a new-to-me online tea shop – Sips by. Their big thing seems to monthly subscriptions, but that isn’t what I did, at least not yet. In addition to the subscriptions, they also sell themed sample boxes, and also just individual teas. I lucked into a good discount… Continue reading Tea For Two: Sips by
Now that the eternal Halloween socks are done, I decided to focus on my Betwixt shawl for this week. It won’t be finished by the end of the week, but I am making some good progress. 26 happy years with this guy…Dave, not the animatronic dinosaur 🙂 We had a nice dinner out last night and have a short weekend getaway planned for a few weeks from now, and he sent me our usual spooky/cute anniversary flowers I’m hoping for another 26!
My Betwixt shawl is moving along! I’m just starting the big pattern band toward the end of the mosaic section. It’s an enjoyable knit so far, and I’m happy with how it’s turning out 🙂

You can watch them and… Continue reading Knit Stars
I had all kinds of big plans this weekend. A hike somewhere scenic! Kondoing our garage! Reorganizing my stash! What did I actually do? Caught up on TV shows, ran one (1) errand, and knitted. Oh well – now I’m recharged to do all those things next week. Maybe. How was your weekend? Productive or… Continue reading Super Lazy Weekend
