Floral Friday
The flowers are continuing to bloom – hoping we can keep them going until fall! And that’s how my garden grows 🙂

My story today starts, as my stories often do, with yarn. I recently bought a Dinosaur Eggs: A Study miniskein set from Yarnaceous Fibers, whose dinosaur and geology themed asthetic I enjoy. Along with my cool yarn, she sent me a lovely little stitch marker and a little packet of Tazo herbal tea. The tea… Continue reading Tea for Two: Tazo Forager Edition
My Half the Knit Sky shawl is coming along pretty well! There are about 40 – 50 rows left, though of course they are all long ones 🙂 I am really enjoying this project – just enough variety to keep it interesting, but it’s not insanely complicated.

After a little bit of a false start last week ( I was doing the star trails AND the star stitches wrong), I am making good progress on my Half the Knit Sky shawl 🙂 There is just enough variety to keep it interesting, but it is pretty straightforward knitting. The star stitches were new,… Continue reading Wednesday WIP
My scrappy mismatch Christmas socks are proceeding along. After the charcoal stripe I’m currently working on, I have two more miniskein stripes for each sock and a charcoal between them. So not much further to go! How are your projects (crafty or not) going?
