Still working on the Elizabeth Montague socks! I’ve got about 2 more pattern repeats and then a couple inches of ribbing, and they are done. So hopefully this week sometime!

My flowers are finally filling in somewhat! There are a lot of bud ready to bloom, so hopefully they will keep on getting better from here 🙂 If you are gardening at all, how is it going?
Yay – something else is finished! My Patina scarf cowl is done. The pattern is part of the Confident Knitting pattern/technique club by AC Knitwear, and was designed by Jeanette Sloan (Ravelry link). The yarn is Schoppel Wolle Gradient in the Tea Ceremony colorway. I did change it a bit. It was supposed to be… Continue reading FO Friday
Other than the EM socks, my only current WIP is my Patina scarf. I decided to change things up on this project, and the result is that I’m almost done! We’ve been pretty jazzed to get out of the house a little more now that restrictions are pretty much lifted in Anchorage, and there are a whole bunch of new baby animals to check out. There are currently 2… Continue reading Out and About: Alaska Zoo
Finally at the beginning of the end of my Bonbori! By the pattern, there are actually 40 more rows to go, but I ran out of one of the yarn colors, so I’m calling it. Now I just have to knit about a mile more of i-cord bind off. Then there’s blocking, which is going… Continue reading Almost……..there!
We finally have some flowers blooming here! The lilacs we planted a few years ago lived through their second winter and are blooming again! Our hanging baskets, pots and the walkway are starting to bloom, though they are still a little thin. At least now I have a little hope 🙂 And last but certainly… Continue reading Floral Report
