Yay – something else is finished! My Patina
scarf cowl is done. The pattern is part of the Confident Knitting pattern/technique club by AC Knitwear, and was designed by Jeanette Sloan (Ravelry link). The yarn is Schoppel Wolle Gradient in the Tea Ceremony colorway.
I did change it a bit. It was supposed to be a scarf with a clever fold in one end for securing the other end, but I just couldn’t face that much knitting on it, so changed it to a cowl. It is a really lovely design with clear directions. and I really like the stitch pattern and the yarn. This really was a case of it being me, not the pattern. I just finished a never-ending project (Bonbori shawl) and really needed something quick to do! I did do embroidery all over it, though , instead of just at the end. And the technique this month was embroidering on your knitting, so I feel like that covers it 🙂
The July Confident Knitting pattern was already released, but I’m going to put off casting it on for a few days. Right now I just have my EM socks on the needles, and I’d like to take a few days to just work on that. Will I? Time will tell 🙂
