We finally have some flowers blooming here! The lilacs we planted a few years ago lived through their second winter and are blooming again!

Our hanging baskets, pots and the walkway are starting to bloom, though they are still a little thin. At least now I have a little hope π

And last but certainly not least, we have some volunteer flowers growing in a crack between our driveway macadam and the front of our house π They are in the middle, between our neighbor’s garage door and ours.

These are fireweeds – they are technically weeds, but I think they are beautiful. The lore on these flowers is when the buds at the top of the stalks have bloomed, summer is over. We’ve still got a little while to go!

Beautiful blooms! Iβve never seen Fireweed before. Itβs really gorgeous.

It is! I have been trying to get it to grow in our yard forever – really thrilled we have some, even if it is basically in the driveway π

I love fireweed also. That they grow in the cracks of concrete says it all. To me it says Renewal.

Cookston Crafts was showing some gorgeous purple yarn on Instagram and I thought of Bonny. I was just wondering how are Dolores and her buddy getting along…I’ve forgot his name π³ Harry? Henry? See we need an update π
