My Temple of Flora shawl has finally gotten to where it is divided out for the fronts! From here, I knit the front wings, which stay straight down the middle but continue to expand to the sides. Then when those pieces are finished, it gets a collar that has some nifty short row shaping. And then after that, it gets a crochet border around the edges.
So nowhere near done, but moving on from stage 1, and that’s something!
What are you working on right now, and how it is going?
I had to go look up Temple of Flora. That is a unique construction! It’s looking great! I finished my socks.

I saw – your socks look great! I should have linked to the pattern – sorry. Yes, it is an interesting construction – that is partially what intrigued me about it 🙂

Thanks! You are moving pretty quickly on your shawl, and it is looking lovely 🙂 This is sport weight yarn and bigger needles, which helps it move along.

That’s beautiful! And the color palette is lovely. I imagine you need to pay very careful attention at all times. Are you making it for yourself?

Thank you! It is actually much easier than it looks – the pattern is all slip stitch/ mosaic, so pretty straightforward 🙂

If we were hanging out at a coffee shop and you showed me this I would hit your arm with my gloves and tell you how amazing it is and how much I love it. I would say things like “SHUT UP” and “THAT. IS. STUNNING.” As I can’t do that, I’ll just leave you weird comments about how much I like it.
