Temple of Flora Done!
As usual, please forgive the terrible indoor nighttime light. It’s not done done – it’s blocking right now, and I need to weave in a few ends. But mostly, it’s done!

My Temple of Flora shawl has finally gotten to where it is divided out for the fronts! From here, I knit the front wings, which stay straight down the middle but continue to expand to the sides. Then when those pieces are finished, it gets a collar that has some nifty short row shaping. And… Continue reading Temple of Flora
Temple of Flora is moving right along! This is my second mosaic knitting projects, and it is kind of fun 🙂

I hate the garter parts less now that there are a few more repeats of the stitch pattern, though I still think the stockinette parts definitely look better… Continue reading Chevrons This Way and That
Now that I’m into the central section, I decided to try the chevron pattern two different ways – one repeat of garter and one of stockinette. Here is how that turned out… I think in this section the pattern is much clearer in the stockinette section, though the garter part is interesting in its own… Continue reading Mosaic Knitting – the Plot Thickens
