So after all my fussing about this afghan last week, I was able to get two blocks done one evening, and finished some duplicate stitching on a third.

The white and blue block on top is the Mount Ranier block, which I knitted several years ago and just had to stitch the hiker on. The blue and green block on lower left is Crater Lake, and the tan block on the lower right is for Wind Cave. The links in the descriptions will take you to the Ravelry pages for the blocks. Here are some links to the park websites:

So this may not be such a big deal after all. There are a lot of blocks, but at least they are fun to knit!
Oh this is fun. I’ve been to Mount Ranier and Crater Lake National Park. I’ll have to have a wee look at the other one.

These are great! I’ve been to Crater Lake, and I remember how neat Wizard Island looked from the shore. It’s so cool to see if portrayed in yarn!

I hope you get to see it! I’d love to visit all of the National Parks, but there are still so many I haven’t been to.

This could be really fun. Knitting different squares might keep you from getting bored.

I think it will! There is a lot of variety in the squares. Should be interesting!

I knew it would be fun because of the variety. There will probably be blocks that you don’t enjoy so much, but if you can get two blocks done in one evening, you’ll be done in no time!
