My Elizabeth Montagu socks are done – they took a little longer than I planned, but they turned out pretty well!

I was planning on doing knee socks, but my yarn was not going to last that long. But that is OK – I am happy with the length as they are.

The lace pattern is just up the fronts – the back of the calf has a wedge of ribbing that allows for comfortable shaping. The pattern is Elizabeth Montagu by Kate Davies and is part of her Bluestocking sock club. The yarn is Knit Picks Stroll in the Electric Blue colorway.
Are you working on any socks right now? And if so, how are they going?

Well done. I like how high they go. My socks never can go that high. Maybe because I knit too much negative ease in them.

Thank you! They are a pretty good length. I do about 10% negative ease. I do wind up doing increases for the calf area though.
