The yarn for these socks is Urth Yarns Uneek sock in the Tigress colorway. The yarn comes in two pre-wound balls that would result in much longer socks, I got bored of it at the point you see here. And then my Mom absconded with the rest of the yarn! I didn’t use a pattern… Continue reading FO Friday: Tigress Socks!
I started a pair of socks to take along on my upcoming trip to the Wisconsin Sheep and Wool Festival. Because socks are the idea travel project 🙂 The yarn is from Urth yarns, and is their Uneek Sock Tigress. Meanwhile, my own tiny tigress wonders what the neighbors are up to.
Sorry for the long radio silence. I was on a long-ish vacation to Wisconsin, which I’ll talk about more later this week. I ripped back my Fright Night socks to the start of the colorwork section and am giving it another shot. This time I went up a needle size thanks to the good suggestion from azwoolgirl. Between that and just trying to keep everything loose, hopefully this time everything will go OK 🙂
I started my Halloween socks for this year! This entire project is from deep in the vaults. The pattern is Fright Night by Lara Smoot, who took all of her patterns off the market a few years about, so I’m glad I bought it when I did. The gray sparkle yarn was dyed by Skeins… Continue reading Sock It To Me Monday
