Nothing finished to report today. I made some progress on my skirt, but it doesn’t look much different. The lace panel I was working on in my Oregon Sky is done, and am just making a start on the next rainbow band
Tomorrow should be a mostly lazy day – hopefully more to report tomorrow 🙂

Beautiful lace. I think it would be difficult to maintain the right amount of tension in the yarn to achieve the desired lacy-ness.

Thank you! The most difficult part about lace is that you have to wait until you have blocked it until it really looks like what it is supposed to look like 🙂

If you’re the kind of knitter that doesn’t mind knots in their knitting, consider a magic knot when doing all those rainbow stripes. With practice, you can get this knot to fall near the garter stitch edging. I decided that was better than having 14 ends to weave in over such a small area. Oh boy that lace would drive me bonkers. I usually avoid lace patterns because of the continuous counting of each row.

I use jump rings to mark off pattern repeats, so it is pretty easy to keep track 🙂
