DH had cataract surgery this morning, which meant I had a good couple hours in various waiting rooms today. He came through it just fine and so far it seems to have gone really well. And I got a couple inches done on my socks!
I tried to get a picture of them in the waiting room, but the staff was super strict about not allowing cell phones in the waiting area right outside the surgery area. But here they are anyway!

Quite A Yarn 
Hope surgery recovery is quick and the next few days good for both of you. My hubby had cataract surgery a few years ago. I wish I’d had knitting to hand to keep me occupied!

Hope DH is ok! I’ve had it done on both of my eyes and it was easy peasy. A friend of mine did not follow doctor’s orders and had issues. Vision afterward was awesome!

So far it is going OK! He was pretty apprehensive beforehand, because he wasn’t sure how it worked. But afterward he said the shot in his eye to numb it was the worst part. So glad yours went OK!

They didn’t use drops to numb. Hmmmm….visions of a needle coming toward my eye….not good.

She snuck it around the side of his eye while he was distracted elsewhere. It was pretty blechy.

Prayers for full recovery! I finished 3 knit items in January, and I hope I can manage just 1 in February, but February is for sewing, lots of sewing!
