Making progress on my Dockside cardigan!

In other WIP news, last week I took the start of a hat in to work as my lunch/boring meeting project. There are some socks ready to go in next, but right now it’s cold and I need a new hat – one with a longer brim that will fold double for ear warmth. Anyway. I have not gotten to knit a stitch on that thing since I took it in. There is a big project going on that is not allowing for any down time. Today I finally got it out of its drawer, because it was lunch and it looked like there might be possibly 15 quiet minutes. No sooner did I have it in my hands than my boss’s boss walked up, looked over the cube wall and asked me to come talk about The Project.
Thwarted!
Oh well, one of these days it will happen. How are your projects going – blocked or flowing along?
I think we’ve gotten over the most difficult part of our transition at work. 🤞

Isn’t that always the way it goes! Hopefully you’ll get some hat time soon.

An extra warm hat sounds wonderful:)
I’m my own speed bump when it comes to my knitting. I’ve had to set myself a 10 row requirement per day or I’ll never finish the first of 6 socks.

Some projects are a slog, no question about it! That’s a good way to make sure you keep going 🙂

Darn bosses. Never give you a moments peace. If this keeps up, you won’t need the super warm hat until next year.

Right!?! Well, we do have a bit of winter left to go 🙂 I do usually have a few minutes at lunchtime, but it’s been unusually busy lately. Hopefully it will calm down again!

Did you throw your knitting at him? I think it would be acceptable given the situation.
