Sunday Fun Day!
I finally got a start on my Shelley Summer Top using the lovely Bamboo Pop yarn I won from Nancyknit’s blog. I didn’t get a lot of knitting time today, so I wasn’t able to do a huge amount of it, but at least there’s a start 🙂

And yet, FO far 🙂 I have about 8 rows of ribbing and the bindoff left before my Christmas in July socks are done – hopefully this weekend!
I have been knitting away, but it all looks kind of like it did the last time I took pictures – there’s just more of it now 🙂 So time for an update on the plants! It’s a little hard to see, but the avocado has spouted a stem with some tiny little leaves on… Continue reading Plant Update

I am attending another virtual Vogue Knitting event this week! I have two classes each Thursday and today, and one each Saturday and Sunday. So far the courses are great and I am learning a lot 🙂 First thing Thursday (and I do mean first thing – this VKL is on Eastern time, so 10… Continue reading Virtual VKL – Thursday Classes
Our flowers are continuing to do pretty well, though some of them are still not quite in bloom. The walkway… Continue reading Flower Update
With Niazuma done, I only have a pair of socks going, so needed to start something else. I was stuck between a couple of options, and somewhat typically picked two things that weren’t even on the list! I am starting another sweater, the Shelley Summer Top, which I am making out of some yarn that… Continue reading What’s Next?
