My flowers are all blooming away or getting ready to. That’s a big relief, as there were some that I didn’t think were going to make it earlier this summer.

DH, Mom and I went to Palmer today for the MatSu Fiber Festival! I have been to this festival several times over the years. Last year’s was cancelled, like much else in 2020. This year’s fest was a smaller event in many ways. There weren’t as many vendors as other years. However, there were a… Continue reading MatSu Fiber Festival!
Is it too early for Halloween knitting? No. Therefore, my Mom and I started on our (Ravelry link) Cemetery Drive cowls so we are ready for the spooky season! Interestingly, we are both using yarn from Pandia’s Jewels. Mom’s cowl is the greenish one on the left – her colorway is Zombie Outbreak Stage 3.… Continue reading Halloween of Independence

Still working on the Elizabeth Montague socks! I’ve got about 2 more pattern repeats and then a couple inches of ribbing, and they are done. So hopefully this week sometime!
My flowers are finally filling in somewhat! There are a lot of bud ready to bloom, so hopefully they will keep on getting better from here 🙂 If you are gardening at all, how is it going?
Yay – something else is finished! My Patina scarf cowl is done. The pattern is part of the Confident Knitting pattern/technique club by AC Knitwear, and was designed by Jeanette Sloan (Ravelry link). The yarn is Schoppel Wolle Gradient in the Tea Ceremony colorway. I did change it a bit. It was supposed to be… Continue reading FO Friday
