This month’s Tea Adventure box from August Uncommon is based on a floral theme. Here is the tea I got in this box…

I haven’t tried any of them yet as we didn’t get the mail until a bit later, and did not have time this evening. However, I did smell them all, and they smell pretty good!
Now might be a good time to talk about last month’s teas, as just like this month, I showed you a picture of tea bags and did not tell you about the tea.
Days of Heaven is an herbal tea with rhubarb, lemon verbena, and chamomile. This tea is OK, but not amazing. You definitely taste the chamomile and then mild and indistinct herbal flavors, with just a hint of rhubarb here and there. To me, the flavors didn’t really come together, though like I said, it’s OK.
Dolomite is green tea with almond and jasmine. Assuming you like those flavors, you will like this tea. The flavors blend together really well and complement each other. Good stuff.
Neon Forest is green tea with chamomile and sweet woodruff. I love the name of this tea, and really like the flavor. I’m not much on green tea in general, but this is one of the few I really like a lot. It is lightly grassy and floral. Best of this box.
These teas are not exclusive to the boxes, so should be readily available. Hopefully I will get around to reviewing this month’s tea before next month’s box rolls around π
Bob got the May box for me for Motherβs Day. I really like the Oolong and Black Metallic floral. They do such a good job with their teas!

i’m a big fan of oolong tea, but I drink it straight. It has a very clean taste, refreshing served chilled on a hot day.

Oolong does have a good flavor π I had not tried it chilled – good to know!

Dolomite sounds like my kind of tea. I love jasmine green tea, though I haven’t had it with almond also added before.

Sounds like lots of yummy tea! I am currently obsessed with Jasmine Green tea, it is mainly what I am drinking these days besides hot cinnamon tea in the evening.

Those are both delicious teas!

What a bummer about the rhubarb. I think that flavor would be great in tea. I enjoy reading your tea reviews.

I agree – rhubarb is a great flavor and would be delicious in a spring tea. Thank you!

These are interesting flavours, I used to be more adventurous with my teas but keep having the same rooibos & honeybush bags every day
