Since my current WIP is a little bit of a secret right now, I’m going to talk about what’s up next!
First, I plan to finish my other current WIPs – my Vertices Unite, my Yawl cardigan, and my Mom’s Christmas Feeling mitts. I am pretty well along in section 3 of Vertices Unite (the orange part), started the fronts for my cardigan, and got a little way into the colorwork on the first mitt.
Also, I signed up for Ambah O’Brien’s Ocean Moon MKAL, and found plenty of yarn in my stash that should do for it – I just need to go through my options. This one starts April 15, so one of my current projects may get put on the back burner for a little bit.
I am in Kate Davies new pattern club – Argyll’s Secret Coast – and she just released a pretty nifty cardigan pattern – Powdermill (Ravelry link). I have a lot of sweaters to knit, but this one jumped to the top of my queue. Right after Yawl is done, unless I need to wait a little bit for other projects to get done 🙂
What’s the next project you are thinking of, after what you are doing now?
Quite A Yarn 
I’m going to truck it on VU and try to finish it by April 15 so I can guiltlessly fly into Ocean Moon. I’d like to finish Arrowhead before starting on Powdermill, so I’d better work on that as well.

Working on Squish’s bday sweater, I have 8 months, but it’s fingering, so not taking any chances! Then I will likely cast on another cowl, I am thinking Copilot using some Koigu.

Oh my, powdermill is gorgeous! You are coming along well with your 3 projects. I bet your VU will be done as well as your Yawl before the beginning of the MKAL.

That sounds like a great plan! I was curious about the Ambah MKAL too, but I tend to prefer knitting smaller shawls than she designs. But then again, I have wanted to start a new shawl lately. Maybe I’ll see which of Ambah’s smaller designs are in my queue so I can pretend I’m playing along. 😉

She does! Though when I was looking through my queue I ended up picking one by a different favorite designer to knit instead. Oh well… I guess I can’t pretend to play along with the MKAL now. I’ll just have to knit one of Ambah’s designs later.

I would love to cast on another shawl, but my “shawl drawer” is bursting at the seams. Its time to give a few of them away, if I can find anyone who wants one.
