The Arrowhead cardigan is coming along – I’m maybe halfway through the first pattern repeat. I’m slowing down on the Just Beachy shawl – I’m only a little way into clue 2, and clue 3 was released yesterday. And the socks are moving along slowly but surely. One more inch or so and then it’s time for the heel!
What are you working on, and how is it going?
Lovely knitting! I only seem to be managing sock knitting right now. But BP shawl is super simple so I think I will cast that on today.

Thanks 🙂 Looking forward to seeing your shawl! You chose lovely yarn for it and it is a great pattern!

I’m working up the motivation to sew buttons on my sweater. I’m also working on a shawl I adore so much I have to keep it in the project bag or I would knit on it all day.

It is wonderful to love a project that much 🙂

I do love seeing sock knitting progress. I think I like them so much because it’s easier to see progress than in the large shawls that I also like knitting.

Very true! Bigger things really do take longer to see any progress at all 🙂

Especially when worked in thin yarns… I really should make a point of picking a worsted weight sweater for my next big project. Lately they’ve all been sport weight or thinner.

Sometimes its nice to use heavier weight yarn – it really knits up fast! Especially when you have been using thinner yarns for a while 🙂

I do like having a variety of yarn weights on the needles! Though I gravitate toward thinner yarns when I’m in yarn shops…

I often do too – it just seems like there are more options for things to make with sock weight.

Yes! Plus you (usually) get more yardage for your money with sock weight or laceweight yarn.

I have slow-moving socks, and a sweater in the works. I’ll be casting on for that MKAL soon though. That’s my limit.

Three is about what I can usefully keep going. More than that and it doesn’t feel like I’m making any progress at all.

LOL, I look at your previous post and see very similar color ways and then pop on this post and see very different color ways! Are you going through spells with your colors?

Somewhat – there are colors I normally use, but then sometimes I go off from them a bit 🙂
