Crazy Crafty Weekend

Well, it was a busy weekend, and amongst the chores and errands, I managed to get a lot of crafting in as well!

I wound the yarn for my northern lights Throwback cardigan

Made a bunch of stitch markers – pictures of them at some point in the future πŸ™‚

And otherwise, I just focused on my Water shawl. It really is a lovely shawl – the short row lace technique is really effective and pretty fun once you get going on it πŸ™‚

I’m hoping to finish it by the end of March, and it’s starting to look like that might happen! Why by the end of March? Because another project will be starting for the Confident Knitting club from AC Knitwear, and also I have a new KAL starting, involving a 3D shawl design from Olga Buraya-Kefelian.

      1. Welp, it apparently I have shingles. Stressed, Regina? Just a tad. Apparently I have a high threshold for pain as well. I just can’t win. I did finish a project while I was home from work.

  1. Those northern lights colours are going to look fabulous on your sweater. We mostly see the green on the left in our skies here. I have only done one KAL so far and should maybe consider another, I have been trying to focus on my YOP list and some of the longer projects need attention or they’ll be carried forward another year. Maybe on my next list I will include a ‘join a KAL’

    1. We mostly get green too, but we do occasionally see the others. Also the pattern calls for 3 colors, so I just picked some likely ones πŸ™‚ KALs can be good or bad. I like KALs where you know what you are making in advance. MKALs where you are taking a gamble on the outcome have the possibility of being less fun πŸ™‚
