I’ve made a little progress on both current progress, though not a lot. I’m done with the folded hem and wrist of the first Flux handwarmer.

And gotten a bit farther with the Wave shawl, though not quite up to the first short row lace part.

I’m hoping to have some solid knitting time this weekend so I can really move one or both of these projects along!
What are you working on and how is it going?
I’m doing heel flaps and the occasional row of my cardigan but not much knitting this week. I have done some sewing this week…I don’t think I enjoy sewing so it’s good to know I can admire quilts made my others without any desire now to make my own.

I’m going to finish Turtledove today and then work on Water all weekend.

Yea, so, I’ve been a bit distracted and haven’t made any knitting progress. I am hoping the weekend brings some time.

I did start on the Water shawl and will share more about it on Monday.

The beginning is kind of boring it seems on some projects, like when I make hats, but then after awhile you can really see the piece evolving and that gets more exciting!

Is blue your favorite color?

Maybe? In years past I would have said black, but I do seem to be leaning more toward blue and blue green lately.

I like it too! When I had first wound it, I wasn’t too thrilled – it seemed boring. But now that I’m knitting with it, it does look nice 🙂

It’s so satisfying to watch your progress on your projects. It must be so much more so for you!

Mostly it is! Sometimes there are frustrations getting there, but mostly it is pretty satisfying 🙂
