My other new project this month is the Flux handwarmers. They are part of the AC Knitwear new pattern club, Confident Knitting. The main technique for this one is folded hems, which I have done before. But I did learn a new way of doing the crochet provisional cast on, so that was good! I didn’t get too much of a start on this one as there wasn’t much goofing off time this evening. But they should progress pretty quickly once I get going! The yarn is Zauberball Crazy, and I think the colorway is Submarine/U-Boot 🙂
Our yarn choices are quite similar! We could be bootsie and tootsie!

It is really fun! I can’t take credit though – it was in the kit.

I love folded hems, but man do they take longer to make.

They do for sure! Sometimes it is worth it. Sometimes not, of course 🙂

I love folded hems, but not the extra time they take!

Zauberball is a fun yarn and I think it’d be good for Andrea Mowry’s Shift Cowl and shawl patterns.

It is! You are right – it would be great in that cowl 🙂
