Progress on my mobius cowl/shawl thing!

Close up of the pattern so far

I am about a week behind the pattern releases, but am feeling pretty OK about that. It was pretty straightforward for a while, but has just gotten a little crazy. I just started using stitch markers a couple rows ago, as when the pattern deviated from the regular diagonals, I got somewhat off track. However, it was in a stripe that is pretty random, so it should be fine. The pattern is (Ravelry link) Its All Right, by Ellen Thomas of The Chilly Dog π
What are you working on (crafty or not), and how is it going?
Whatβs the heck? My mind canβt compute how that is working…I thought at first it was twisted, but then you are knitting the top and bottom at the same time on one needle. π€―

Yes – it is both! It is pretty crazy. Basically you cast on the middle of the project, and it does have 1 twist in it. Then as you knit, you are going outward from the center. I don’t 100% understand it either, but it is working!

I love the texture the stitches are creating. That is a heck of a lot of stitch markers.

How many stitches did you have to cast on?

The mobius cast on is weird because you are doing both sides or directions at once, so you cast on 265 stitches.
My mistake – not 56 stitch markers – 53.
Still a lot
