I started my second SE2SE project this week – the (Ravelry link) Op Tiki scarf/cowl.

It’s going well so far! It is a slip stitch pattern, so the fabric is a bit wonky as you can see. From the examples on the pattern page it looks like the wonkiness will partially block out, but not entirely. The yarns I’m using are Black Welsh Mountain and Clun Forest.

The pattern will work either as a scarf or a cowl – I’m just going to keep knitting until I run out of yarn and see what I wind up with 🙂
What’s the grooviest thing you have ever made?
I love it, your eyes want to follow the lines like finding a way out of a maze.

Thank you! Yes! It is kind of hypnotic 🙂

It is beautiful and groovy. I guess the grooviest thing I made was that pastel tie dye mod mini dress. I didn’t wear it, so I donated it.

Aw! Any plans to make a different one that you would wear?

This is a fun pattern. I like the secondary lines that are developing.

Yes! I’ve liked this pattern for a while now. I am glad to be able to finally be making it and fit it into my SE2SE project as well 🙂

I don’t do groovy. I was born without a groovy gene!
You, on the other hand…

OK, I admit, I possess ‘groovy’, but my boys have forbidden me from showing it in public ever again.

That is such a cool stitch pattern. I love when straight lines don’t look straight!

That is so cool! The grooviest thing I’ve ever made is probably just tie dying a t shirt.

This is awesome! I love the wonkiness, and it does kind of make my eyes do weird things, but I like it. The grooviest thing I’ve ever made…hm. Probably my son. He’s pretty groovy.

Looking good! I am not sure I have ever knitted groovy but have made plenty of wonky, usually unintentially!
