I’ve got two project going right now, both kind of new. I’m making my Mom an (Ravelry link) Odyssey shawl . It’s looking OK so far – I’m just at the 1st lace part, so will be getting started on that hopefully tomorrow.

The other project I started just tonight is a (Ravelry link) Blue Shimmer cap. I have had the kit for years, and finally decided to get going on it.

Like I said, just got started, but hopefully it will go well π
Oh I love those Bohus knits. I have the book but Iβve never attempted any of the patterns. I canβt wait to watch your hat progress! And the shawl already looks so inviting.

Bohus knits are beautiful, but a little scary. I hope it goes well, but we’ll see π The shawl is very cushy so far!

Knitting tension was just not right. I had worked on it in poor light and whilst watching tv hoping as it grew it would feel/look ok. It didn’t in the morning!

Oooh, Blue Shimmer! I have the mitts started from a class with Susanna Hansson at Madrona; I should finish those! Bohus knitting is cool. It looks like regular stranded colorwork as you knit the chart, but then the purls pop in such an unexpected way. Have fun!

I think I will have fun π The mitts are pretty too- you definitely should finish them! I love the look of Bohus knitting. I got this hat kit because I have a sweater kit that I am building up the nerve to do. I thought a smaller project as a warm up would help me get going on it.
