Well, our temperatures are cooling down, the days are getting shorter, and our outdoor flower season is coming to an end. The planters and hanging baskets are gamely hanging in there, though not much is still growing.

What is there is pretty cheerful, though!
The marigolds and forget-me-nots by the walkway are still going strong, though!

Are you still in growing season where you are, or is summer winding down for you too? How is your garden growing?
Wow, your marigolds are spectacular! My garden is sad. It was not a good place to put a garden. My geraniums are winding down but Iโve got some mums in a pot.

Mums are so lovely in the fall! The marigolds really are doing very well – they are definitely in the plan for next year ๐

I put in fall plants a couple of weeks ago so they are looking nice, though not as colourful as summer plants. Good thing I read your post this morning as it reminded me to go water my plants๐คฃ

Your flowers are so pretty! Our vegetable garden has slowed quite a bit. The tomatoes are turning red and the peppers are ripening but not getting larger. The cucumber plants are gone. The flowers still look good. There are lots of buds yet to open. Iโm hoping they can continue to open over the next few weeks.

We just got hit with snow in Colorado and unfortunately my pot of sunflowers I planted too late in the season got hit with freeze! I am so bummed! I enjoyed looking at your flowers. Our flowers in front of the house are still hanging on ๐

It is pretty early but Colorado can be weird – they’ve serious snowstorms in June ๐

Not into that hobby yet. The roses that sit outside my daughter’s room amazingly blooms on its own now and then as we don’t water it.
