The socks continue. There’s a bit more of them than there was the last time I posted about them, though not as much as I had hoped there would be. I was focusing on a different project this weekend, which I will post more about tomorrow!

Ugh I’m putting off a air of black socks for a friend. I don’t like knitting with black!

I like black in general, and larger yarn isn’t such a problem, but these stitches are pretty hard to see!

Black socks are the opposite of self striping socks. They take twice as long as normal socks.

LOL – yes they do. Stockinette is boring to knit, and when there aren’t even pretty colors to look at, it’s double boring. I find myself losing interest and fooling around with my phone so often!

When I made black socks I had to leave my phone in another room because the same thing happened to me.

I started the second sock of my Clovers and started a pumpkin one for a MAL. I had to take a break from sock knitting as my fingers were getting stiff.

Working with all tiny yarn and tiny needles can definitely be rough on your hands 🙂 I have to switch up with larger yarn and needles regularly.
