This week I started my second of hopefully six pairs of socks for this year – 3D Shark Socks!

The toes, heels, and ribbing are the white with red speckles, and the rest is the shark gray. The shark is done in texture and a little bit of lace stitching on the leg part, so the feet are just plain socks. That will be my airport and flight knitting this week.
This pattern is by Lara Smoot, and was part of a shark week sock kit put out by Jimmy Beans Wool. I would link to the pattern, but it is no longer for sale on Ravelry. There are pictures of the finished socks, but not any great ones, so I will post some here as I make progress π
You knit the most fun socks! I look forward to watching these:)

I can’t wait to see these progress. Your socks put my parade of vanilla socks to shame.

Your socks all look great! Mine are mostly vanilla socks too – these ones are just going to have a little texture patterning on the leg parts π
