Well, I had another rare treat this weekend – a yarn dyer trunk show! The dyer is Northern Bee, who used to be in Juneau AK and now lives in Wisconsin. She comes up to AK every year to dye yarn for local shops, and this year she decided to do a trunk show with some special kits and new colorways and so on π

The show was at Wooly Mammoth in downtown Anchorage, which is one of the local shops that stocks her yarn regularly. Her yarn is regularly in the shop and also in her online store, but I still wanted to get to this trunk show. I’m excited that people are starting to think of trunk shows up here! Also, I like her yarns a lot – she always has new things available π

My new finds!
Love her colors!

I love those sweet minis, and for me the best part about mini sets is that someone else did the color theory for me!
The window display looks fun: Giant knitting!

I know! I love mini skein sets so much π
It is a fun display! It’s a tiny little shop, but they fit a lot of character into it π

Yes, I am glad we can still get her yarn pretty easily! I suspect over time she will work more and more with the shops that are local to her now. But it’s great that she keep coming back!
