Not a lot to report on the knitting front. The socks are progressing, but not in any really dramatic way quite yet. The brioche scarf is progressing pretty well also.

I’m about 2.5 pattern repeats along out of 7. It is very cushy and I think will be nice to wear. Also, I’m getting good practice with brioche increases and decreases, with lots of nice restful plain brioche in between the exciting rows. Very glad I made the change to this different yarn!

I just cast on a hat today using a mink/chasmere blend, OH MY! How soft it is! It will go to my friend going through chemo, I hope it is soft and cozy for her this winter.
