Forest Weave is off to a start! It doesn’t look like much yet, just crumpled up stitches. The big cables start pretty early, and the piece is going to take soaking and blocking before it opens out, I think.

I am liking working with this yarn! I was a little concerned, because it is DK weight linen, and it is pretty stiff, I have to say. But it isn’t bothering my hands at all, so that’s a relief!
Glorious color!

I love the colour and it’s nice to hear there’s a linen that’s not hard on the hands. I always avoid linen because of that

It is a good color 🙂 I might feel differently if this was a firmer fabric, but because it’s pretty open and airy it hasn’t been a strain so far.

Hmm good to know. Maybe I shouldn’t rule out all linene

Oh good. I can’t wait to see it coming along. I have some linen yarns that were leftover and need a good project. Not sure what I will do with it. So maybe I’ll be inspired by YOU!

Oooo – leftover linen! This might be a good candidate 🙂 Though often linen winds up getting used for household things – towels and bags and so on.

Wow! I love the loose, almost free-form stitches. This one is going to be a good one!

I hope so! I like open lacy things like this for over tank dresses in the summer 🙂
