Making decent progress on my Shelly Summer Top! I’m almost, but not quite, halfway done with the first side. It is a pretty easy knit – it’s just one of the variants of Feather and Fan, otherwise known as Old Shale, so it’s pretty straightforward. As you can probably see, the yarn is pooling a… Continue reading Shelly Top Update
I finally got a start on my Shelley Summer Top using the lovely Bamboo Pop yarn I won from Nancyknit’s blog. I didn’t get a lot of knitting time today, so I wasn’t able to do a huge amount of it, but at least there’s a start 🙂

Since I last posted, I actually finished something! It was my Maderia tank top, which turned out pretty well. Here it is… As you can see from the picture, I modified it a bit to add some short sleeves. As written, the arm holes went down kind of far, and there was quite a bit of… Continue reading One Down!

In spite of all my plans and firm resolves, I currently have three medium to big projects on the needles, as well as more or less keeping up with the Geek-A-Long afghan squares. On to show and tell! The Princess Line sweater is proceeding. Slowly, a little bit… Continue reading Spread a Little Thin
