Yesterday was my 10 year blogiversary! I had the sense I had been doing this for kind of a while so went looking back in the list of posts. April 24, 2016 was post #1 – so here is a blast from the past Obligatory origin story.
Doing this blog has helped me find so many wonderful friends and otherwise been such a great thing! Looking forward to many more years of sharing stories and projects and adventures with you all, and reading about all of your thoughts and activities as well!

Happy blogiversary!
My blog turned 18 in March; it’s old enough to vote. I miss the old days when there were tons of comments. I think social media took over those interactions. But I love blogs. They’re fairly permanent, and searchable, and some wacky algorithm doesn’t control who sees it.

Yes, absolutely! It did seem more active a while ago. However, I have made some amazing friends through blogging, so even if it isn’t as active now, it’s still pretty cool.

True… though this past decade feels weirder than most. Maybe it’s just because I haven’t always been old enough in the past to notice all of the weirdness.
