New cast on this week! I am putting the argyle cardi away for a little while in favor of a new summer sweater – She Makes Waves (Ravelry link).

The yarn is one that is new to me, Cascade Anchor Bay, which is a 50/50 blend of wool and cotton. I am using Dark Teal (10) for the background, and Aqua Glass (41) for the colorwork. Alissa of AlissaMakes and I are doing a KAL of it, along with several other KALs we are doing this year. We are KAL gals!
I am still working on my pineapple assigned pooling shawl, alternating with this sweater, but don’t have a new pic of it – it still looks basically the same as last week, just more of it π
How about you? What are you working on, and how is it going?
Oh wow, what a cool pattern! Look forward to seeing it take shape π

It is! And I’m hoping it will be a good weight for spring and fall – not too hot but also some warmth. We shall see!

That looks like a good thick yarn so Iβm sure that will fly off the needles. I shall KAL vicariously through reading your blogs.

LOL! It is sport weight, so a little thicker. I think next year I’m not knitting any sweaters with yarn under worsted weight. Preferably bulky!
