I’m chugging along with my same two projects, but at least I’m making progress!

This is the front and back of my Melville (Ravelry link). I’m about 1/3 of the way through the colorwork and enjoying it quite a bit! I love watching the pattern emerge 🙂
My DH’s socks are coming along as well. I still have a fair amount of yarn left, and he has requested longer socks this time, so I’m going to just keep going until the yarn runs out.

At what point in a project do you start thinking about what to cast on next? Asking for a friend!
😁 Your Melville is looking so so good! When you finish those socks, cast on something new. So says I.

That wave action chart is terrific. I’ll bet you get a mental work-out keeping track of your place. I often wait until I’ve cast off before thinking about the next cast on. In the past year, I have started cueing up projects in plastic bags. So I just go to my yarn closet and choose a bag.

It is a challenge to keep track for sure! Stitch markers are a huge help. Having upcoming projects bagged up and ready to go is a great way to be able to get a quick start on a new project!

Love the colorwork. I can see waves in the pattern. You are a trooper. With all you knit black socks are pretty boring!

Thank you! I love it too – love at first sight with this pattern 🙂 True, they are kind of boring, but he really appreciates them, so it’s not a chore.

The waves look awesome already, so sharp!
I start thinking about it probably about 2/3 through a project. I find 2/3 is the time when I am least engaged with what I’m doing and I question all my choices 😁
