It’s been a busy knitting week! Once I finished my Celtic Mist shawl, I got a start on Ambah O’Brien’s Supernova MKAL.

This is clue 1 done and the first 2 rows of clue 2. It’s kind of an abrupt change from the first yarn to the second, and I was kind of doubting my choices for a while. But there are flecks of orange and pink in the first yarn that I think make it work at least somewhat with the second yarn. And from the other projects I’ve seen, that is pretty standard. So I’m going to go with it 🙂

And I got a little bit into the second hound’s-tooth section of my Back to the Fuchsia shawl as well. Once I finish clue 2 I will focus on this. So should go back to moving a bit faster on this project, I hope. Powdermill is taking a back seat again for the moment. But I will pick it back up as soon as one of these is finished!
How about you? What are you working on now, and how is it going?
These both look fun! Very different, but fun!
I’m trying really hard to focus on getting my GAL blanket finished up, but I’ve now reached the point where I need to do the horizontal joins and the rows are going to be REALLY long. I’ve never picked up that many stitches at once before. OR done that much kitchner stitch on one project, ever. Still. Almost done!

That is going to be a lot of kitchnering for sure! But you are almost there!! Can’t wait to see your finished blanket – that is going to be so cool 🙂

I already feel like I have leveled up my kitchner from the vertical joins! But still, it’s going to be so worth it. I love it already! (And Mr. Wyrm is now expressing an interest, now that it’s more obvious what it’s going to be when it grows up. It was harder for him to get excited about the individual squares.)

I’m sure – you are getting a lot of practice with it! And glad to hear Mr. Wyrm is getting excited – that is a really cool project 🙂

Back to the Fuchsia is so fun, it’s coming on great! I’m getting towards the end of a big project but was derailed by a Terrible Tangle 😁

Oh no! I hope the Terrible Tangle can be worked out! It’s so frustrating when those things happen.

It took a long time but it’s done and I’m ready to knit again!

I love that houndstooth! So graphically pop.
I haven’t knit a stitch all week; we went to St. Louis to celebrate MIL’s 90th birthday. Home again and I had to pick all the blueberries and raspberries that got ripe while we were gone. And now I’m going to make some raspberry jam, because we can’t eat all the berries right now…
