The pattern is Celtic Mist (Ravelry link) by Vanessa Ewing of Cape May Fiber. This pattern was an MKAL, and the last clue just came out last week, so the full pattern will likely be published shortly. The yarn is Cape May Fiber All American Alpaca. The pattern clues were each different gansey-style texture patterns. This was a fun knit! None of it is difficult at all, and the sections are all pretty manageable. If you are interested in trying out this type of knitting, this is a great project.
And the result is a large, very cozy shawl!
This looks great, well done! Gorgeous colour too.

Thank you! It is natural wool – I got a picture of the alpaca it comes from and everything. I like the color too π

Oooh, it’s lovely! I might have to knit this one too… plus it would give me an excuse to buy a nice solid color yarn since I have so few solids in stash… π
(Also, I love that you know what alpaca this yarn comes from! Very cool.)

Yes! I felt the same way. It’s a fun knit – not so complicated that it is too much, but also not boring. I love knowing the alpaca’s name π

Yes! The designer repeated a couple of design elements (diamonds, diagonals) with differences in each section, and I think that is what holds it together pretty well!
