I started a pair of socks to take along on my upcoming trip to the Wisconsin Sheep and Wool Festival. Because socks are the idea travel project ๐

The yarn is from Urth yarns, and is their Uneek Sock Tigress.
Meanwhile, my own tiny tigress wonders what the neighbors are up to.

Your into gingers today, socks and cats!

Punky ๐งก I should dye us some sock yarn that matches our cats.

I’m missing the Sheep and Wool festival again this year. But I’ll get there sooner or later.

Socks are the perfect travel knitting! Yours look good. I’ve been pleased with the socks I’ve made from Urth Uneek yarn, too.

The yarn seems nice to knit with so far – good amount of spin, not splitty or anything. I do like the tiger stripes so far ๐

I think my favorite part of the Uneek sock yarn was how there are two balls that let you perfectly match the stripes. I really appreciate when dyers do things like that.
