I’m a few days late for Wednesday WIP – maybe Saturday Sweaterday? Anway,
Drops 106-11 is proceeding along pretty well! The back is done, and I am maybe halfway up the fronts. In a few inches I start binding off for the sleeve area and broadening out the center bands for the collar. It’s a nice straightforward pattern, and the yarn (beautifully dyed by Alissa of Headknits) is just delightful.
I’m a little bit struggling to find things to write about with knitting, as I am working on two projects that I can talk about, and really they are kind of just the same things with a little more added on. I’m temporarily out of new knitting books to talk about. It’s cooling off here, and my flowers are all slowly dying. The only other things that’s going on new is an upcoming trip and also I’m trying some new things with bullet journaling. So there may be a journaling post in the near future!

Quite A Yarn 
Your seed stitch edging is quite fine. Today I started an art quilt project, based on some vacation photos. It’s been a slow process. Also, I am continuing to knit holiday socks.

Bullet journaling is a passion of mine too. I am always looking for new ideas. That yarn color is so rich and gorgeous. Sure wish it would cool off here. We had 2 weeks of below 100F but are back up to over 100F again. *sigh* come on November!

That yarn is beautiful and I like the idea of a pattern that does the front edging at the same time, although bottom up isn’t for me. I have quite a few WIPs I realise which isn’t like me.

I’d love to read posts about bullet journaling. I’ve been thinking about trying that, but it feels overwhelming.

Thank you for the feedback! I do a really basic, simplified version of it. I don’t do all the fanciness – that overwhelms me too. So maybe that would be good to write about.

It’s been years since I’ve done bullet journalling—I use a Jibun Techo planner these days, and love it—but I always love seeing what other people do with their journals. Something about the organization just makes me happy, which I suppose is part of why I’ve kept a journal/planner for so many years.
The sweater is looking great! Even if it feels boring to blog about the same project with incremental progress. 😉
