The gray thing is the back for my Yawl cardigan. It is knitting up really quickly, and I love the yarn! It is a little ironic that I went from one project I complained about because it was boring stockinette to another project that is basically boring stockinette. But that’s how it goes sometimes. Both the Damele tee and this cardigan are things I want for my wardrobe. Next sweater will be something fun and more interesting to knit!
And I’m making a little progress on my Vertices Unite shawl. I haven’t been spending as much time on this one, but plan on focusing on it a bit more this week. So next week, hopefully it will have moved along a bit more.
I’m planning to start a small side project later this week. I’m making mittens for my Mom, brother and SIL for Christmas, and am making another pair of socks for DH. Not sure which is happening first – we will see!
What are you working on these days, and how is it going?
Orange is usually so abhorrent to me, but I must admit it really does look great against those two other sections. With this and your Sasquatch hat I like, perhaps I have to stop saying I don’t like orange! I need to swatch for my ship shape jumper if it’s going to be worn this summer! Today I realise it’s only knit on 3.75mm needles, same as the shawl I’m doing, so that’s putting me off a little. I could do with an Aran weight project for some change of grip on the needles.

The little girl coat/sweater is moving along just fine. I will be at the end of the yoke very soon.

The gray sweater definitely looks like it will become a wardrobe staple. And yay! I’m not the only one who starts Christmas gift knitting really early!

I hope so 🙂 I don’t usually knit for other people for Christmas, and I want to be sure these get done. It’s probably too early, but better that than too late!

Much better to start early! This way there is no stress involved with the knitting, for one thing.
