Quite A Yarn 
Yes, making a pair for my mother, in turquoise tonal yarn. I hope to finish by this week-end.

I cast on some socks with a kind of defiant attitude last month (if I start them, then I will finish, right?!) and they are still languishing in the project bag with only about 10 rounds of ribbing on them. Sigh. I did get a whole bunch of hats knitted up for community knitting so I am being productive, just not so much for myself. Poor socks.

Working on a new design, and after knitting seven (!) socks, I finally have a pair! It’s been an interesting journey in “what do I want?” I think I’ve got it now. They’re worsted weight bed socks.
