Project

Saturday Start

I actually starting this Friday night after I finished the Water shawl, but that doesn’t have any alliteration πŸ™‚

I got my Throwback cardigan started, and it is going so fast! Seriously, after so many projects with fingering weight yarn and little needles, this thing is growing like magic. I have one more series of the multicolor lines as at the top, then I’m separating off the sleeves.

And I am so happy with these colors! They are working out exactly as I hoped they would. All in all – pretty happy with this project so far.

What are you working on these days, and how is it going?

  1. I love those colors together!

I’m knitting endless garter stitch for a log cabin wrap. I thought I was almost done, but I looked at the first half last night, and I’m only at 75%. Oops. Keep knitting…

  2. I have to search your posts for a photo of the water shawl. I never saw the finished product. I LOVE the color combination you have chosen for this sweater and I LOVE cardigans. I wear them almost every day in the winter.

    1. The last photo I posted of it was when it was blocking, and not really at its best. I’m hoping to get a nicer picture of it today at some point πŸ™‚
I love cardigans too – very comfy to wear!

  3. Sometimes those heavier weight projects are a god send! I’m planning to hold lace and mohair together for a worsted weight next just to get that feeling!
