Since I finished the handwarmers, I’ve been focusing on the Water shawl. This is the first time in a while I’ve only had one project, and it is coming along pretty well!
I’m about halfway through the 4th lace section, so 2 more of those to go, and 3 more garter stitch sections. The rows are getting longer now, so I’m probably only about halfway.
Are you knitting along with us? If so, how’s your shawl going? If not, what are you working on and how is that going?

I am about at the same spot. I have finished the 4th lace section. I’m a little concerned about the shape. There is such as mismatch between the lace sections and the garter sections that I fear it will not block out flat.

I started positioning the lace sections a bit differently than in the instructions. But I think with a vigorous enough blocking it will flatten out OK.

Yours is looking great. I should have picked a worsted spun yarn, as I’m afraid you won’t be able to see the waves on mine.

Yours is lovely! I think once it’s blocked all the lace sections will stand out really well 🙂
