I’m about halfway finished with the I-cord bind off. So it’s close, but not there quite yet!

And as soon as I get it finished tomorrow, I’ve got some winding to do for one of the two projects I’ll be getting started on March 1st.

These are for the Blogville Water shawl KAL (Ravelry link). They are the same color on slightly different bases, but they should work fine for the shawl. Gnarledpaw was a dyer I loved who stopped dyeing yarn a couple of years ago. I have basically a bin full of her yarn, but I use it very grudgingly as there won’t be any more of it when this it is gone. But I think it will be lovely for this shawl!
Have any knitting plans for the weekend?
I have sewing and knitting plans and we will celebrate Hubster’s birthday with the fam tomorrow. Hope your knitting plans come to pass!

Your shawl is going to be beautiful. I wound my yarn today, and I’m having a very hard time not casting on early.

Me too! It’s very tempting. If Alissa was going to be on the call tomorrow I was going see if we couldn’t nudge to start early 🙂

It is actually done at this point – its blocking now. Such a relief to be done with it!

I plan on finishing a project the diving head first into one that has been patiently waiting for my attention.
