I started my Halloween socks over the weekend!
The yarn is Strong Sock in the Haunted House colorway from Ms Monster Creations on Etsy, who is also the dyer of my big Halloween yarn advent from both last year and this year. I did not know (or remember) that it was self-striping, so that was a happy bonus 🙂
I’m just doing my usual toe-up two at a time. All the increases are done on the one on the left and it is on the circulars. The one on the right still has a few more increases to do before it too can go to the circulars. Then onto the feet!
Are you working on any socks? If so, how are they going?
I like these stripes!

Me too! I knew I liked the colors in the skein, but normally this dyer just does variegateds. So the stripes were a happy surprise 🙂

That is fantastic yarn! Of all the Halloween themed yarn, I have not seen anything like this.

That is lovely yarn! Did you see the Salem sock pattern on Ravelry? I saw it and thought of you:)

I have some spooky yarn and I should get going with it. It is going to be for hallloween but perhaps a cowl? or a hat? Not sure

You definitely should – you have plenty of time to get a cowl or hat or really whatever done for Halloween 🙂

I’ve been seeing all the socks on Ravelry and realized that it is Socktober! I must cast on some socks right away, right?! Yours are going to be really cute, and the yarn is just perfect.

Love how the yarn makes stripes. So cool! You have almost a whole month to knit them.

It is cool yarn 🙂 I do have some time to get them done, but also have a bunch of other projects I want to get done!

Love these! I am actually not actively working on any socks, though there’s one longstanding pair on the needles, just trying to work on my sweater a bit each day.

I so want to finish my socks but my tendonitis has been acting up. Yesterday I switched to Continental knitting on the DPNs; helped a bit. I’ll check out this dyer.

It’s good to be able to switch up knitting styles – that can really help tendonitis!

They are pretty stripes!
I’m currently zooming through a pair of Diagon Ally socks for the Boyfriend, and noodling along with some shortie socks for myself. If I had even more sock needles there would definitely be others as well…
