How was everyone’s Christmas? Or December Wednesday, if you do not do Christmas?
I had a pretty nice one. DH and I opened our gifts to each other Christmas Eve, as that is his family’s tradition. He got me some self-striping sock yarn in the Wonder Woman colorway from Turtlepurl yarn, and a very cool retro-y Halloween bracelet.
Christmas day we Skyped with my Mom, brother and SIL in Florida and opened gifts together online. I talk to Mom pretty regularly, but it was nice to see my brother and SIL. I got several knitting books and an workout outfit kit for Dolores π

So all in all, a pretty knitty Christmas π Now I hope to spend the next couple days actually knitting!
How was your Christmas? Details, please!
Oh, you just know I canβt wait to see Dolores in her workout kit, ready to burn off the winter weight we all gain. Sounds like you got some lovely things. My mum spoke to me on Christmas Day and wished me a Happy Christmas, so after 4 years of her not talking to me that was my best present I received. π

Sounds wonderful. I wondered if your mother was still with you. Our Christmas is quiet and we only exchange one gift. I got a Starbucks gift card (my favorite!). We treated ourselves to lobster tail so we did enjoy it (with food!).

Sounds like a very nice Christmas! Yes, so glad Mom is still with us and doing well! I sense the day coming when we will just do a gift apiece. Some years we just do a membership for the both of us somewhere (Sea Life Center, Museum, like that). We are getting to where we just get what we want whenever, and what we want is decreasing as we go, too.

We had extended family Christmases from Monday to Wednesday. On Sunday we will celebrate with just our kids, well, and my sister, and maybe BioGirls future inlays. LOL!

I like the idea of opening your presents to each other on Christmas Eve. Our Christmas was wonderful. Bill and I could sleep in, have a leisurely breakfast, then my youngest son, his wife, and 2 grandkids came and we opened presents. Bill’s parents came over and we all had dinner together. It was warm enough for Bill to cook some chicken in the smoker outside.

Dolores must be thrilled. You know how she is;)
I was gifted two gift certificates for The Loopy Ewe, an alarm clock with big numbers and a quip toothbrush:)

Sounds like good gifts π Yay for the Loopy Ewe gcs! That will help out with the next Camp Loopy!

I’ve been wanting to try that Turtle Purl yarn in that colorway. I look forward to your review. My Chirtsmas was lovely. I got a skein of yarn from a MI dyer, more yarn from my in-laws trip to Italy, and the Alterknit Stitch Dictonary. It was a knitters holiday for me.
