Fade Found!

I never thought I would see the day – my Find Your Fade Shawl is done!

I finished knitting it the other night, but needed to get it blocked. It is huge! We had to set up folding tables in the garage this morning to get it done.

I didn’t block it too aggressively – just soaked it and drained it, and then sort of patted it into shape and then let it dry.

And here it is!

The pattern is Find Your Fade by Andrea Mowry, and the yarn is Madeline Tosh Light Merino Light, and the colors are VooDoo (pink), French Toast (lavender), Gin ‘n’ Tonic (lighter blue with green), and Deep Blue Sea (darker blue).

This actually took me about 11 months to finish – though in all fairness I was working on other stuff during that time. But now it’s done. Whew! On to other, much shorter to complete projects!

    1. Thank you! I had my doubts here and there as well. Honestly I think French Toast is kind of the weak link, but it does bridge the gap between the pink and the blues. If I had it to do again (not happening), I would do a little less of the pink. But overall, I am happy with it!
