This basically never happens to me, but I suddenly have a knitting emergency. My felted slippers came apart on me, just as it’s starting to get cold!
I have had the sense that they were getting a little thin, but they seemed to be holding together pretty well. Then I put them in the washer, because they were getting pretty filthy. And this is what came back out. So – off to the yarn shop!
Very fortunately, I just finished a project, so they are next on the needles. It is a pretty easy pattern, so hopefully will get them knitted up quickly!

Those are well-loved slippers:) It’s an emergency for sure that they be replaced!

I just finished a pair for Diva, now on to a pair for her guy. But he has size 10 feet!!! Oy

They should be – I had a stretch of knitting time today and got the first slipper knitted! Here’s hoping the second is done at some point this weekend 🙂
