Have been making decent progress on the redo on my cowl design.

The changes I was thinking about that caused the redo are working out pretty well. This yarn is very different from the yarn I started with – that was all silk and was very fluid and flowy. This is tightly spun wool, and is much stiffer. I don’t think that’s a bad thing – it will be good to see what it will look like in very different yarns. Also, I haven’t soaked or blocked this yarn yet, so it may well soften a bit. Otherwise, it will be a good cold weather protection cowl, where I think the other yarn will make a pretty accessory cowl.
I think there’s enough of the first stitch pattern, so next is transitioning to the second pattern. I’m going to try to get there gradually and see how that goes.

Very pretty! I love that color.
