It does not like to be frogged. Not at all. And since this designing thing is likely to be a bit of a process, I frogged as carefully as I could, then put it aside for once I have the design finalized. I’ll use it to knit a final, pretty version. Until then, I am using some lovely gansey yarn from Upton Yarns for my prototype.
It’s much sturdier, so should hold up to what is likely to be a bit of frogging and reknitting as I go. But the pretty yarn will return!

Good plan! I have read that difficult to frog yarn is easier to frog if you freeze it first. I tried it once with a lace weight mohair and it did help but you know how mohair can be…

I re-started a design idea 3 times last summer, and absolutely shredded the singles yarn. Oops. That design is not happening, and neither is that yarn. Oh, well. On to better and brighter things!
